Marine forecasts for the Canadian portion of the Great Lakes and the
Ontario portion of the St. Lawrence River issued by Environment
Canada at 6:30 p.m. EST Tuesday 9 February 2010 for tonight and
Wednesday.
The next scheduled forecasts will be issued at 3:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile.

Winds are for offshore areas. Nearshore winds may vary considerably
due to shoreline effects.

Western Lake Superior.
Freezing spray warning in effect.
Wind northeast 15 knots increasing to 20 this evening then backing to
 north 20 Wednesday morning. A few flurries ending Wednesday evening.
 Visibility 1 mile or less in flurries. Freezing spray beginning this
 evening.

Eastern Lake Superior.
Freezing spray warning in effect.
Wind northeast 20 knots increasing to 25 near midnight then backing
 to north 20 Wednesday evening. A few flurries. Visibility 1 mile or
 less in flurries. Freezing spray.

Whitefish Bay.
Wind northeast 15 knots backing to north 15 near noon Wednesday then
 diminishing to 10 Wednesday evening. A few flurries ending Wednesday
 afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in flurries.

Northern Lake Huron.
Freezing spray warning in effect.
Wind northeast 15 knots increasing to 25 this evening then backing to
 north 20 Wednesday afternoon. Periods of snow ending Wednesday
 afternoon. Chance of flurries beginning Wednesday evening.
 Visibility 1 mile or less in snow. Freezing spray beginning this
 evening and ending Wednesday evening.

Southern Lake Huron.
Freezing spray warning in effect.
Wind northeast 20 knots backing to north 25 Wednesday afternoon.
 Periods of snow. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation.
 Freezing spray ending Wednesday morning.

Georgian Bay.
Wind northeast 15 knots increasing to 20 this evening and to 25 late
 overnight. Wind backing to north 20 Wednesday afternoon. Periods of
 light snow tonight and Wednesday morning. Chance of flurries
 beginning Wednesday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.

Lake St. Clair.
Wind northeast 20 knots backing to north 20 early Wednesday morning
 then to northwest 20 Wednesday afternoon. Periods of snow ending
 Wednesday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation.

Western Lake Erie.
Wind northeast 15 knots increasing to 25 this evening then becoming
 southwest 25 late overnight. Wind diminishing to variable 15 early
 Wednesday morning except north 25 near the west end. Wind becoming
 north 25 near noon Wednesday then backing to northwest 20 Wednesday
 evening. Snow at times heavy ending late Wednesday afternoon. Chance
 of flurries beginning Wednesday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less
 in precipitation.

Eastern Lake Erie.
Wind northeast 25 knots except variable 15 near the west end
 Wednesday morning. Wind diminishing to north 20 near noon Wednesday
 then backing to northwest 15 Wednesday evening. Snow at times heavy
 ending Wednesday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in
 precipitation.

Western Lake Ontario.
Wind northeast 15 knots veering to east 20 this evening then backing
 to northeast 25 late overnight. Wind backing to north 20 Wednesday
 afternoon. Chance of flurries changing to periods of light snow near
 midnight and ending Wednesday afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less
 in precipitation.

Eastern Lake Ontario.
Wind light increasing to northeast 15 knots this evening and to 20
 near midnight. Wind increasing to northeast 25 near noon Wednesday
 then backing to north 20 Wednesday afternoon. Periods of light snow
 beginning early Wednesday morning and ending Wednesday afternoon.
 Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.

Kingston to Cornwall.
