Issued 3:00 AM NST 12 December 2017 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing trough located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 984 mb located over
New England.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today building ridge located on a line east-west
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM NST 12 December 2017 A trough of low pressure will track through the Labrador Sea today,
weakening as it moves to lie east of the marine district tonight.
Gale force westerlies over northern waters will gradually diminish
through the day today behind this feature.

On Wednesday gale force southeasterlies will spread over most waters
as a low pressure system approaches from the southwest.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the northern and Southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf - Port au Port, and Belle Isle
Bank.
