Technical marine synopsis for the Pacific waters issued by
Environment Canada at 10:30 a.m. PST Monday 18 December 2017 for
today tonight and Tuesday.
The next scheduled synopsis will be issued at 4:00 p.m. PST.

Systems position.
At 4:00 p.m. PST today deepening low 1015 mb located at 43N 135W.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Tuesday low 1000 mb located over northern
Washington State.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today weakening low 1008 mb located north
of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening low 1014 mb located over northern
Bowie.

Canada at 10:15 A.M. PST Monday 18 December 2017.

A low pressure centre will form southwest of the Explorer region
This afternoon and then move northeastward and deepen over Northern
Washington state Tuesday afternoon. Strong easterly winds will
develop ahead of the low tonight and shift to strong to local
Gale force westerlies in its wake.

A trough of low pressure extending northwards from the low will
strengthen during the day on Tuesday with gale force northerly
Winds developing over most offshore and outer coastal waters as well
as mainland inlets.

pressure extending northwards will strengthen during the day on
Tuesday with strong to gale force northerly winds forming over most
offshore and outer coastal waters,
