Marine forecasts for the Canadian portion of the Great Lakes and the
Ontario portion of the St. Lawrence River issued by Environment
Canada at 10:30 a.m. EST Thursday 18 January 2018 for today tonight
and Friday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 6:30 p.m. EST.

Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile.

Winds are for offshore areas. Nearshore winds may vary considerably
due to shoreline effects.

Western Lake Superior.
Wind light increasing to southwest 15 knots late overnight and to
 southwest 20 Friday morning. Wind veering to west 20 Friday evening.
 Chance of flurries changing to chance of showers Friday morning and
 afternoon.

Eastern Lake Superior.
Wind light increasing to west 15 knots late overnight then backing to
 southwest 20 early Friday morning. Chance of flurries today and
 tonight. Chance of showers beginning near noon Friday. Risk of
 freezing rain Friday morning.

Whitefish Bay.
Wind light becoming southwest 10 knots late overnight. Wind southwest
 10 Friday. Chance of flurries late this afternoon tonight and Friday
 morning. Chance of showers beginning Friday evening. Risk of
 freezing rain Friday morning and afternoon.

Northern Lake Huron.
Wind west 15 knots backing to southwest 15 early this evening then
 increasing to southwest 20 early Friday morning. Wind increasing to

 and tonight.

Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 30 Friday evening.
