today tonight and Saturday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 3:30 p.m. AST.

Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile.

Halifax Harbour and Approaches.
Wind west 20 to 25 knots except west 30 in the Approaches. Wind
 becoming west 20 this afternoon then diminishing to light late this
 evening. Wind increasing to north 15 after midnight and to north 20
 late overnight. Wind backing to northwest 15 near noon Saturday then
 increasing to northwest 25 Saturday evening. Periods of light snow
 beginning after midnight and ending Saturday morning. A risk of
 freezing spray in the Approaches late this morning. Temperatures
 near minus 3.
