at 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday 16 December 2017 for today tonight and
Sunday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

West Coast Vancouver Island North
Explorer - southeastern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 early this evening then
subsiding to 3 early Sunday morning.

West Coast Vancouver Island South.
Seas 2 metres building to 2 to 3 this evening.

Queen Charlotte Sound
Central Coast from McInnes Island to Pine Island.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 3 early Sunday morning.

Hecate Strait - northern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 this evening and to 1 early
Sunday morning.

Hecate Strait - southern half.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 late this evening and to 2
early Sunday morning.

Dixon Entrance East.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 2 Sunday morning.

Dixon Entrance West - west of Langara
West Coast Haida Gwaii.
Seas 4 metres.

Dixon Entrance West - east of Langara.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 2 Sunday morning then building to 2
to 3 Sunday evening.

Bowie.
Seas 4 metres.

Explorer - northwestern half.
Seas 4 metres subsiding to 3 early Sunday morning.
