..Snow for the southwest and the Golden Horseshoe area today..

An intensifying low pressure system will continue to track across
Lake Erie tonight. The snow associated with this system began in
Southwestern Ontario and spread to the rest of the above mentioned
regions last evening.

For most of Southwestern Ontario..Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10
centimetres are likely. Lesser amounts near 5 centimetres are
expected elsewhere. The snow is expected to taper to light flurries
near midday when the system moves off to the east.

Higher amounts are expected for Windsor-Essex county and Chatham-Kent
region where a snowfall warning is in effect.

Also..Occasional winds of 30 km/h with gusts up to 50 km/h will
accompany the snow giving local drifting and blowing snow with
reduced visibilities.

found by consulting the latest public forecast. The next public
forecast will be issued by 5 AM.
